Our day starts as usual. The Bloody Mary of course is first. A great breakfast, followed by a nice coffee and brandy. Back to the room to get Kay for our morning walk on the beach. Although we are both grand-parents we still enjoy walking the beach holding hands. Morning on the beach is a lovely thing to share. We think that these Punta Cana Vacations are the absolute most peaceful time of our year. We are celebrating our anniversary and I would recommend this resort as one of the best to do this. As Kay and I walk around the resort and see the fine Gazebo that is so prominent we often say, “Wouldn’t it have been fun to get married there?” After our walk we go looking for the Concierge. We want to make sure of our reservations for our anniversary dinner on the beach are all set. The remainder of the day is spent sunbathing and just enjoying the peace that Punta Cana vacations offer.

Come, Join Us In January 2010, At Dreams Punta Cana ResortBack at our room we get ready for our dinner on the beach. I in my white dinner jacket and Kay in a fine dress. Some folks would think that would be funny but we like it just fine. This is how we enjoy our Dominican-Republic-Holidays.
What we have to look forward to is a 7 course dinner on a secluded part of the beach. We will have our very own waiter, candle-light, 2 bottles of wine and also a bottle of Champagne. For those of you that will plan to do this I must let you know that it does cost extra. The food is excellent and the service is great (the waiter will get lost whenever you want him to). And best of all you making a memory that will last a life time. We relive this night by telling many of our friends about what a great evening we experienced.
What really makes the story is when we include the fall I had on the way back to the room. We have to cross over a bridge to get back to the room, with a few steps going up and a few steps coming down. As I was coming down the steps after crossing the bridge I missed the last step any went sprawling. I was very proud of myself though. I was carrying an open bottle of wine and our camera. I did drop the camera but I didn’t spill a drop of that wine. That’s day 6 of our Punta Cana vacation. I’ll leave the rest of the evening to your imagination. We hope you enjoyed our day 6 as much as we enjoyed sharing it with you. Did I mention that we love these Dominican-Republic-Holidays?
