Dominican-Republic-Nightlife Reviews

Hard Rock Cafe

Hard Rock Cafe Santo Domingo

Cheapest Dominican Republic Vacations!

Many travelers say there is no better Dominican-Republic-Nightlife than Santo Domingo’s Colonial Zone. The nightlife in Santo Domingo is always changing. You will have to check on the curfew for the clubs. The last time I was there they had to close at midnight during the week and 2:00 AM both Friday and Saturday.

Apple Vacations - Best Buys! are your best bet for an enjoyable All-Inclusive Vacation.

Check with the concierge at you resort or hotel where you are staying. They can make reservations for you and also give you a copy of a free guide to all the clubs on the Island.

My wife and I belong to a couple dancing clubs in our area and they do a lot of dancing. It is nothing like the Dominican Republic. I believe that every person on the Island dances. If you can get a table near the dance floor you will absolutely love watching these people dance.

By the way, most of the clubs in the resorts stay open until dawn or until there are no more people to party.

Santo Domingo Clubs

Dominican Republic Sports Bar

Doubles: This is a fantastically decorated piano bar. You will think you are in a hip apartment in the heart of France. Lighting is also great for the romantic.

Guacara Taina: What a unique setting. You will tell all your friends back home about this one. It is set in one of the many caves that are found in Santo Domingo. Seating is carved into the limestone walls. This place has become a great tourist attraction. This is Dominican-Republic-Nightlife at it's very best.

The Led: Located in a hotel the curfew doesn’t apply here, so they go until the wee hours of the morning. The young crowd will love to party in this hotel Disco. A great place for private parties because you can also stay the night at the hotel.

Marrakesh Café & Bar: This is for the upscale after work crowd to gather in the early evening. You will enjoy both international and American music. Great jazz on one night.Keep in mind that this a hotel place also.

Nowhere Bar: The crowd is young and affluent with a sprinkling of Americans going to college in Santo Domingo. DJ’s play most of the music during the week. Live bands take to the stage on the weekends.

Praia: Tourist and the affluent locals love this bar and wine lounge. Music is electronic and the drinks are expensive.

Do not forget Apple Vacations - Best Buys! are your best bet. Their specialty is All-Inclusive Vacations.

Looking for more Dominican-Republic-Nightlife?

Montecristo: A Great bar during the daytime hours. A very lively disco when the sun goes down. Just to watch the dancing is worth the trip.

Montecristo resides in the Palma Real Shopping Village in Bavaro. Don’t worry Bavaro and Punta Cana are right next to each other.

As a backdrop to the dance floor they have a big video screen which is quite interesting. The DJ’s spin the music most of the time but they do have live music occasionally. The locals really cut-a-rug on that dance floor.

If you are staying at one of the Punta Cana or Bavaro all-inclusive resorts and would like a change of scenery the club has an arrangement with most of the hotels and resort where they will come and pick you up and bring you back.

You will love getting a group together to enjoy this hip club. There is no cover charge at this place. They have special drink each night with a special price. 809-552-8999.

You will feel like someone has put your local Sport Bar from back home right in the middle of the tropics. Watch all your favorite games on the big screen TV’s, via satellite. Tim will even sell you some of the regions better cigars.

Crazy Moon: This club is within the Paradise Beach Club & Casino. It’s not very high class; however, they usually fill it.

The music will rock you til all hours of the early morning. They usually close when the last few partiers go home.

Enjoy the horseshoe bar and you may want to gamble a bit also. You may get lucky.

Dominican-Republic-Nightlife

Gravity: Another resort party place. You do not have to be a guest of the resort to enter though. Locals and tourist are both welcome.
