Old Saddles in Santo Domingo Museum

Workers hand painting labels on bottles of Dominican Republic Rum
A very interesting city is Santo Domingo. If you are into history you will enjoy the Museum.
The saddles you see on this page are really neat. The one has a belt on it. It's the side-saddle. The belt is used to hold the lady in over the rough terrain.
I sat on the other one and boy is it uncomfortable. I would hate to sit in it for 5 minutes, let alone a day.
The guides that show you through the museum all speak pretty good English. Everyone was asking a lot of question. Our guide had an answer for each and every question.
We have decided to take the tour when we go back in January. It was that good.
