Old Saddles in Santo Domingo MuseumA very interesting city is Santo Domingo. If you are into history you will enjoy the Museum. The saddles you see on this page are really neat. The one has a belt on it. It's the side-saddle. The belt is used to hold the lady in over the rough terrain. I sat on the other one and boy is it uncomfortable. I would hate to sit in it for 5 minutes, let alone a day. The guides that show you through the museum all speak pretty good english. Everyone was asking a lot of question. Our guide had an answer for each and every question. We have decided to take the tour when we go back in January. It was that good.
