Sunscape-the-Beach-Punta-Cana

Now Known As

Dreams Punta Cana

Kay & I At Our Aniversary Dinner

Kay and I Having Our Anniversary Dinner On The Beach At This Fine Resort

Sunscape-The-Beach-Punta-Cana has a new name. It's called Dreams Punta Cana. This is actually our favorite all inclusive Punta Cana resort.

The photo above shows Kay and I at our aniversary dinner at Sunscape the Beach on our first visit there. This is a special deal that they have there. For $100.00 they will set you up on a private beach, give you your own private waiter, a 7 course meal, 2 bottles of wine, 1 bottle of Champagne. The meal was outstanding.

We drank both bottles of wine so the walk back to our room was an adventure.

Kay on the grounds of Dreams Punta Cana

Kay loves to stroll around the grounds of this beautiful Resort

Sunscape-the-Beach-Punta-Cana, now Dreams Punta Cana, is one of the top resorts in the Dominican Republic. I have been to many all inclusive resorts and if you look hard enough you can find something that doesn’t please you however, I can’t say anything bad about this Punta Cana all inclusive resort.

The last time we were there was 2007. Check in was very fast and easy, everyone at the desk spoke English. They told us to leave our bags in the lobby. They said they would be in our room in 20 minutes so we took a leisurely walk around the grounds.

When you walk out of the lobby towards the interior of the resort the first thing that gets your attention is the Gazebo. Kay and I have decided to renew our vowels and that’s where we will be doing that.

We are not going to invite friends and family because we want it to be just us.

We will follow our renewal of vowels with a private dinner on the beach. We did this private thing the last time we were there. It’s a 5 course meal served by your private waiter. Absolutely the best dinner I have had at any all inclusive resort.

You will enjoy Sunscape-the-Beach-Punta-Cana/Dreams Punta Cana very much. The pool winds itself from the lobby to the beach. No matter where your room is you are close to the pool. The depth of the pool is consistent; you can walk the whole thing. There are also easy-in and easy-out places for us more mature folks.

For those of you that bring your children they have the Explorers Club, a fully supervised children’s program, (ages 3 to 12). They have a weekly camp-out adventure, sand castle competition. A safe rock climbing wall and their very own waterslide.

The included amenities at Sunscape-the-Beach-Punta-Cana/Dreams Punta Cana are; 620 rooms, pool, land sporting activities, water sports, fitness center, Spanish classes, dancing lessons, cooking classes, painting classes, a fine night club, internet café, meeting room, Jacuzzi, children program, indoor theater.

Amenities at an extra charge include; golf (close by), casino, currency exchange, spa, babysitting, car rental, tour desk, laundry service and medical facility.

Room amenities include 1 four poster bed or 2 double beds, maid service (nightly turn down), furnished balcony or terrace, ADA rooms for the physically challenged, ceiling fan/air conditioning, stocked mini bar that is replenished daily with beer, juice water & soft drinks, 27” satellite TV, alarm clock, coffee/tea maker, telephone, and a safe.

The restaurants and bars Sunscape-the-Beach-Punta-Cana/Dreams Punta Cana are all exceptional.

Lobby bar (piano player in the evenings), Sports bar, where you can catch the games, Oceana bar (next to the Oceana restaurant), Desires Disco bar, teenagers are welcome to dance from 8:30 till 10:30, and the adults can enjoy the place until 2:00 am after that. Some of the staff will entertain you with their dancing, Sugar Reef bar by the pool, and the swim up bar, Barracuda bar, and the show-time bar located near the theater.

The World café is buffet style restaurant where you can eat all three meals, (they will have the makings for a Bloody Mary if you so desire),

Himitsu, Japanese with Tepanyaki grills, dinner only dress code, reservations required.

Bordeaux, French A la Carte, dinner only, dress code.

El Patio, Mexican, dinner only, dress code.

Oceana, The best seafood in Punta Cana, lunch & Dinner, dress code for dinner.

Sea Side grill, steaks & Burger, lunch & dinner dress is casual.

Da Mario, Italian, dinner only, dress is casual.

You will absolutely love this Punta Cana all inclusive resort. So far it’s our favorite.
