Our Bavaro Apartment BuildingA Successful Website Story by Ron & KayWE ARE RON & KAY AND THIS IS OUR STORY Our website and Punta Cana are the center of our story! We are two very average people. Both of us are retired and working part-time to supplement our retirement income. Our goal is to spend the winter in the Caribbean. I was first introduced to the region in 1960 while serving in the U. S. Navy. Aboard the USS Oglethorpe, AKA 100. Kay and I were married while on a cruise down there. Great Deals on All-Inclusive Vacations at Orbitz.com! We have decided to buy or build a place in or around the Punta Cana area in the Dominican Republic. You can’t beat the weather. The last few years we have been going to a few different resorts in the area and just fell in love with the people and the atmosphere. Of course the next question was, “How do we pay for this?” We couldn’t get three months off with pay from our part-time jobs. After brainstorming the question of how to supplement our retirement income while living away from our home base. The perfect remedy presented itself to us. Our first thought was of the internet. If we could build a high traffic website we would be able to share our experiences with so many people. Helping all those people by telling them all of what we know and all that we could find out through research. Just maybe they would appreciate our help and would book their vacation through our partners. Also, by finding the most efficient and reliable real estate people, we could even help those who wanted to purchase property. Sounds great, however, it presented us with another problem. How do two retired people that have a lap top and very few computer skills build a high traffic site? Well, it was back to the brainstorming. We needed to find a cost effective way to build a site. We couldn't afford to pay someone thousands of dollars to do it for us. Through a mutual friend we met a professor at a local college. Over lunch one day the conversation turned to our need to build a website. After presenting our story to the professor he said he knew of something that would be the perfect remedy. That is, if we were up to the challenge. He assured us that this was something that we could do. He had first hand knowledge of a course that was being taught at many colleges through-out the country. By first hand knowledge I mean that he had built himself a site, (www.jugglenow.com), using this course. He also assured us that he had no more computer skills than we had. Armed with this information we went to our lap top to investigate. After some intense investigation we found out that this was do-able. When we were finished building we would not only have a website. We would have a high traffic site that would rank very high with Google and all the other search engines. That's how we were introduced to SBI, Site Build It! We are spending more and more time in our dream world. Our website is like a snow-ball rolling downhill, it keeps getting bigger. If you have a dream, maybe SBI can help you make your dream come true also. It has certainly changed our lives for the better. Please keep in mind that it will take some work on your part.
